May 2010 - Kira keeps on working on the Kalitowicz family lineage and she has successfully made some advancement….

April 2010 - Research work in the field of family history helps to put aside prejudices. Although this work is difficult, we dare do it. This work becomes difficult simply because most of us neglect it. The real benefit of this work is that we get answers to questions on our own roots and we can get rid of some false ideas that have built up over the years.
March 2010 - Alphamille has no great news to announce this month apart from a large number of visitors on our website. We are pleased to be able to restore some truths through this website. This knowledge is not a power but a treasure to share with others.

Researches in Bulgaria… small and sad progression in our investigations: Andrew Boltoukhin died of pancreas cancer in 2007 in Jakoruda.

December 2009 – Thanks to Kira’s work, major advances and progress has been made in our understanding and knowledge of the “Kalitovic / Kalitowicz / Kalitowics / Kalitovitsch » family. The different spellings refer to a same patronymic name which has been modified in function of the pronunciation in different languages. We know that they come from an ethnic group called “Rusyns”, very present in the Austro-Hungarian basin.
November 2009 – We were very sorry to find out that Andrew Boltoukhin has been dead for a while (Bulgaria). We continue our investigations to locate his son Ivo Boltoukhin.
October 2009 - To create a link with the past, but also with the present, we inform you this month of the birth of Gabrielle Marie Lamy-Boltoukhin. - Andrzej Kalitowicz bought back some drawings and various works by Michal Kali in France. These works will be a showcase for our family heritage in Poland.
September 2009 - Let's ponder... When we probe the history of the past, it is difficult to imagine that we can ignore and disregard the experiences of our ancestrors to learn from life.
August 2009 - Major additions to the site with photos of Jordana Kremenliev, her husband Alexander Boltoukhin and their son Andrew Boltoukhin. Our gratitude to Alex for his contribution from Mexico.
July 2009 - On the occasion of a trip to Germany (Waldhaus-Greiz), Georg has located with certitude the rest of the mansion where Irina Kalitowicz and her son used to live. They were liberated by the American troops that entered Waldhaus in May 1945.
June 2009 - Modifications are on their ways....delayed by a small problem. My computer had to be repaired and I must now sort out all the files, addresses, etc. And gain new confidence in computers again.
May 2009 - This month was marked by “Michel KALI” - Kira has located some of his works for sale, and I was contacted by a person who works on despoliation records where Michel Kalitowicz is listed as a claimant for plundered property during the Second World War.
April 2009 – Several changes this month, more pages on our website have been translated into English, and one certitude “Success is to go from one failure to the next without losing one’s enthusiasm”.
March 2009 - A big thank you to Salome Boltoukhine who found the tiny village of “ KRAPIVENSKAYA “ where one of our ancestors lived; a proof that the new generation that faces big challenges for the future is nevertheless interested in the past.
February 2009 - Further translation work in English has been completed on this site. Improvements have been made on the web-site about Elie Grekoff. I invite you to revisit it now.

October 2008 - Progressively we expand our communication in English on our site and this month Alexander Boltoukhine's life pages will be translated. We hope that we will soon be able to give additional information on Jordanna Kremenliev and her son and display some new photos...
28 October 2008 - Death of Nicolas Bataille at the age of 82.
September 2008 - Scoop… Following our contact whith the family “Kremenliev-Krem” in the U.S. we discover that our half brother Andrew Boltoukhine, first son of Alexander and Jordanna, may still be alive in Bulgaria.
Our cousin Andrzej Kalitowicz and his partner Agnieszka just informed us of the birth of their daughter Aleksandra-Irena (Ola) on 12 September 2008 in Poland.
